At Founders, we love celebrating the milestones and achievements of our team members, and none more so than our annual Bullpen Hall of Fame and Legg-Tarence Servant Leadership awards. In April, coinciding with the firm’s anniversary and annual crawfish boil, Founders selects a bullpen alum to recognize for their outstanding contributions to our firm. The recipient of this award exemplifies the fundamental beliefs of our organization in every aspect of their life – not just business.

This year’s inductee was William Short, Vice President and member of Founders’ Technology Practice. William has played an integral role in the development and success of our firm since his start with Founders in 2016.

Beginning last year at our 20th Anniversary Celebration, Duane also instituted and awarded the firm’s first Legg-Tarence Servant Leadership Award named in honor of partners Wesley Legg and Zane Tarence. This award is given to the team member who most exemplifies the characteristics of Servant Leadership within the firm. Team members are nominated and then voted on by all employees of Founders to select the winner.

This year’s inaugural recipient was Brad Johnson, Managing Director and member of Founders’ Technology Practice. Brad has been with Founders since 2009 and is the first employee to ever go all the way from Intern to Managing Director at the firm.

Congratulations, William and Brad, on these well-deserved achievements! Thank you both for the hard work and dedication to delivering “Gold Standard” outcomes for your clients, communities, and team members.
